Jonesboro High School Student Wins First Place in Arabic Art Competition
We are proud to announce that a Jonesboro High School magnet student earned first place in the Arabic Art Competition, hosted by the Arabic Teachers Council of the South (ATCS) in celebration of Arabic Language Day (December 18).
The competition provided students across the southern region of Georgia with an opportunity to express their creativity and deepen their connection to the Arabic language and culture. Participants submitted original artwork and shared the significance of Arabic culture using the target language.
Our students at Jonesboro High School have demonstrated remarkable engagement and growing interest in Arabic language and cultural diversity. Their accomplishments continue to have a positive impact within our school community, and we celebrate this outstanding achievement with pride.

Jonesboro Cardinals Defeat Hughes To Advance To Final 4
The Jonesboro Cardinals boys basketball team earned a trip to the Class AAAAAA Final Four with a 62-51.
