Visitors to School Buildings

While Clayton County Public Schools welcomes parents/guardians/caretakers and others to visit our campuses, we strongly encourage making appointments for any visit. This is especially important during the instructional day to minimize distractions. Appointments can be made through the school’s secretary, school counselor, school parent liaison or directly with the classroom teacher.

School Bus Safety

Students are expected to follow specific rules of behavior related to riding a school bus to and from school and while waiting at a designated bus stop. Schools employ a progressive form of discipline that could result in a suspension of riding privileges.

School Bus Stop Locator

Parents/Guardians can utilize WebQuery, a School and Bus Route Locator application to obtain students’ route and bus stop information. To access this application, please use the following link: https://ewa2.edulogweb.com/claytonga01web/webquery/

Please be advised that there may be some minor delays in bus pick-up and drop-off times due to the number of multiple routes that will occur. The patience of all stakeholders that may be impacted throughout this process is greatly appreciated in advance.

Drive with Care

As a precautionary measure, the school district asks all community constituents to SLOW DOWN and follow the speed limit (and the law) especially in school zones and around bus stops; pay attention to those flashing yellow caution signs and lights; watch out for students crossing the street and staff/security crossing guards. Please note that a number of CCPS schools have a school zone camera system to enforce speed limits.

In addition, motorists are asked to please be prepared to stop for school buses; do not drive around school buses with the stop-arm extended; do not drive distracted--discontinue the use of any devices and adhere to the cell phone laws that govern this state.
