Good afternoon JHS School Council Members and Jonesboro Parents,

 

We are excited for a new school year. Please join us as we welcome you and re-elect new members for the Council, as we are looking for an engaging school community.

 

Please come out on Tuesday, 8/25/2026 at 5:30pm (in-person) for our Council's re-election.  We will meet in the JHS cafeteria. 

 

There's work to do, and we don't want the school year to escape us.  

 

We need you! Please mark your calendars, and we'll see you on August 25th!  

 

Article IV: Officers

Section 1: Positions

The council shall elect the following officers annually:

1. Chairperson: Presides over meetings and coordinates the work of the council.

2. Vice-Chairperson: Assists the Chairperson and assumes duties in their absence.

3. Secretary: Maintains meeting minutes and council records.
