JHS Winner in Arabic Language Day Art
Raymond Williams

Dear All,

I am excited to announce that the Arabic Teachers Council of the South (ATCS) has announced the winners of the Arabic Art Competition held in celebration of Arabic Language Day (Dec, 18). This competition provided an excellent platform for students to express their creativity and deepen their connection to Arabic language and culture. After submitting their art products, they shared the significance of the Arabic culture through their projects using the target language (Arabic).

I am particularly proud to share that one of my Arabic students at Jonesboro High School (Magnet Student) has earned first place among ALL high schools in the southern region of Georgia (see attachments). My Arabic students have been actively engaged with and demonstrating a growing interest in the diversity of the Arabic language and culture. Their reflections on what they have learned are having a positive impact within the school community, and their accomplishments fill me with great pride.

That's why I decided to share this piece of news with you all.

Thank you for your support, and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to know further information about the competition.
