Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is proud to inform parents/guardians and students that all students have access to Tutor.com at no cost! Students can log in to their Clayton County Rapid-Identity Portal account and click the Tutor.com link to connect to a subject matter expert tutor in a secure online classroom, for one-on-one help in math, science, history/social studies, English, and much more!

Tutor.com also offers help to students with study skills like taking notes, getting organized, and time management as well as homework questions and class assignments.

Greetings,

For those students who are interested in taking credit recovery through Edgenuity, the program will start February 12th and end April 26th. By taking credit recovery, you are able to gain a previous credit failed that will go towards meeting the graduation requirements for the State of Georgia. Before signing up, please read below:

  • For those particular students that sign up for this particular Credit Recovery all work  will be done using Edgenuity. 
  • Credit Recovery will start February 12th and end April 26th
  • Students may only register for ONE course at a time.
  • Students must spend a minimum of 3 hours per week in Edgenuity.
  • Student Must attend a required online meeting with Site Facilitator via zoom.
  • Student and Parent Must Sign Memorandum of Understanding. (You will get that form from me)

Students CAN NOT take credit recovery for the following courses BIOLOGY, ALGEBRA I, AMERICAN LITERATURE AND US HISTORY, you must retake these courses in the traditional classroom setting.

  • Space for this Particular Credit recovery is limited to 15 Students Per Area. (English, Math, Social Studies, Science)
  • The failed course must already be on your transcript, it can not be a current class that you taking.
  • This is a first come first serve.

A email Confirmation will be sent that you have been accepted to complete credit recovery in Edgenuity once all of your information is confirmed.

CCPS Announces Graduation Schedule for Class of 2024 Ceremonies to be held at the Performing Arts Center and the Georgia International Convention Center

 

Graduation ceremonies for members of Clayton County Public Schools’ (CCPS) Class of 2024 will be held at the CCPS Performing Arts Center in Jonesboro and the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC) in College Park. Commencement exercises for the district’s high schools will take place Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, May 20, 22, 23, and 24, 2023 (see schedule below). The CCPS Performing Arts Center is located at 2530 Mt. Zion Parkway in Jonesboro, and the GICC is located at 2000 Convention Center Concourse in College Park.

Additional information related to the ceremonies will be released as more details are finalized.
